Title kinda says it all.. I typically play PUG's but this event has me playing the CW and i have been having lots of fun. Seams like people communicate a lot more which is nice. Outside of a couple bad rolls which happens, and some people that insisted on repeating idiotic strats.. (like why on earth would you push strait in to generators on the first push, only to die to being pounded by turrets in front, and mechs from behind, and then repeat saying, its the best way to win! but i digress) It has been lots of fun.

Still kinda learning the ins and outs of a bunch of maps but no matter what i don't think i can find anything to like about grim portical. But over all i find many pretty nice. I really like the snow map, and the one that is kinda like a mountain city. The yellow one, and the pink one are kinda cool too.


But i have been enjoying it so much in fact, i just may have to find myself a group to enjoy deeper group play, especially finding 4 peeps, for group scout builds..


I will say, that the Long tom, does feel a bit OP still, but most of my matches didn't have it so maybe that is why i have been having fun? But perhaps it is something that should only be used once or twice a match is in order. I do kinda like the sat scan though.


I also would like a bit more open areas on some of the maps, and also a few desert, or moon maps. Room for improvement, but i am finding it hard to understand the hate for this mode.

Like i said, i don't play it often, but when i have played it since it has been added, i really have enjoyed it. Maybe because i only play during events? But they certainly make me wonder why i don't give it a try more often.

Also I am loving the scouting mode, the 4V4 is great.. can't wait to find some folks in my faction and maybe get some practice and building complimentary mechs.. especially on my IS account as i have lots of choices.. Just need to work on leveling more of them!

This event really has me even more excited to see what is in store for the next CW update.

I've been playing Clan side, running Jade falcon.. the other day before the switch to steiner, matches were taking about 15 mins to start,, but IS was launching fast.. now since the battle verse Steiner has started, been waiting like 5 mins tops.

Lots of very even matches.. only a couple of rolls each way.. mostly great matches, with a bunch have had teams from both sides been down, and then come back to win.


IS side, Steiner is on fire right now, the other day we were fighting marik and davion..


So what i am saying,, If you wanna play IS go Steiner, and if you wanna go Clan, give Jade falcon a try as both are getting matches very fast as of the yesterday and today.. as i don't see any faction marker in your tag, you get to choose!

50 matches on the nose to get my EXE, which i thank all of you that dropped with Jade Falcon for the last week.

I haven't had this much fun playing in a very long time.. comms were active and People talked strat and changes strats on the fly when things were going wrong. Pretty much no one complained all week long in any match i was in which was great. Perhaps due to the fact it seamed like everyone knew how to play, and worked with the groups, but still. Even those matches where we were down, and pulled the big come back, Or even if it was almost, or Just made um fight for it for the full 30 mins was great!

It really was a pleasure playing with you all. And Hat's off to HHOD, and SW and a few other 12 mans, that i forget your names.. (sorry about that) which put up some great fights.. We won some and lost some.. but it felt good when our pugs could pull one out on ya and you sure made us work for it.

So thanks again to all, I hope to get in on more CW in the future, was really a nice change from the 5 min pug que.. You guys just might have another familiar face in CW...
