Why move it?

Just lock it, it'll be removed... At some point in the future. Given there is no set date, and only a promise, and it's thus undelivered it *might* not even happen

Honestly, I'm happy with the long tom as it is. So much better than the Davy Crockett it used to be.

this is one of the reasons they were reluctant to remove longtom



and the video portrays CW/FW/FP in a misleading fashion to say the least and they finish the vid off with a mushroom cloud


They nerfed it pretty hard so its probably a 50/50 that the nerfed longtom stays or the ECM thing gets put in.

Long Tom had a pretty big nerf and scouting dried up so they kinda(ish) split the difference when they added back the damage (if I got this story correct - sooo many changes/opinions on this issue).

I play in a pretty decent sized CW group and we usually do not go after long tom, but we do try to block others gaining it. It is a great strategic tool if CW was only group play with folks focused on moving forward on the map.

It has gotta suck for PUGz and it is also no fun when your side gets it and the Q dries up (reason our unit does not always go for it)

However, it will be replaced by a global ECM burst.

And your faction identity will be irrelevant.

And we'll have 24/7 Tukayyid events.
