I can make a joke on TS about what I'll get on opening a Supply Cache by picking the least expensive item.. and I'll get that item. And that item is one away from the most expensive item... So if your crate contains a mech and a SRM 4.. you will get the SRM 4.. which will be between that mech and 2 mech bays.

So why do you bother Piranha with this at all? If you are scamming us, don't you feel a little ashamed?

It's not a 1 in 8 chance to win anything in the crate is it? It's on some kind of State Fair Carney odds? Where you toss in the ball to win the 5 foot tall rabbit, and spend $15.. and you get a 3" chew toy?

Would South Park call Shenanigans on this? I think they would. If you need the money so badly.. why not just tell us upfront and skip all of the nonsense with this scam?

Not much of a scam unless someone never heard of a lottery before.

What we don't know is the probability for each item in the crate, so we would have to assume that there is a steep curve of getting the better items, take a mech for instance, it will probably be done so that the chance to get a mech will on average take more MC worth of keys than MC to buy said mech.

One of my friends opened his first crate, today.

He won a mechbay and was pretty happy about it.

Before you open a crate, you have to ask yourself one question:

But still paying real money for stuff you can buy with CBills or get just by playing, really not worth it.

supply caches are only good for selling them for that 50k.

Well, it's an easy way to get c-bills, nothing more. Last opened cache I got a 360-degree target module and sold it for 3mio c-bills.

But without empty mechbays c-bills are pretty much worthless.

If you think 25 mc is a scam, pff. you almost always get back in c-bills, to a much better rate then actual c-bills bundles or resellable mechs.

Try 5-10 $ rng crates in archeage for example, then you can feel scammed.

Well now, it is gambling, a scam, ripoff, whatever only because that person did not get exactly what they wanted out of the box.

Go read the posts. Majority are; "I wanted the MC/Mech Bay/Mech and I got something else. It's gambling, scam, ripoff, whatever."

You should get 1-9 for each supply cache you sell, so that you are able to buy a supply key for selling 3-25 supply caches !
I think 5 would be a FAIR PRICE for each supply cache you sell, so that you can get a supply key for selling 5 supply caches.

In most F2P games you have the choice between opening the thing or destroying it to free up inventory space, be grateful that you can sell them at all.

not a very good one, you cant even get the damn things if you wanted to buy keys and spin em. then the very low odds make me not want to.
