Thank you, the players for reviving the Mechwarrior franchise!
There have been ups and downs with PGIs game but I finally realized this game is good when there are fun people to play with / against.
I think the players will outlive MWO and maybe we shall all meet in another game after this.. i think ill miss the players ive played with/against the most.

russ did say they are not going to have the rights to make MWO after awhile. So Pray to anything that some developer takes the reigns after PGI is done. Which unfortunately is not looking good for the fact that the franchise stood dead for longer than it will probably last under PGI.

I'll still be fan of Mechwarrior universe for a long time. Still got MW4:Merc on my laptop, for another new game. Still got 20+ paperback novels to read for the umpteenth time. Still got HBS game to look forward to. Still got videos that I recorded. I can wait a decade or two for another MP MW game. Meanwhile I'll be lurming, wubbing, dakkaing my way through Puglandia, and GQ with my unit mates.
But next time I hope the developers are not lazy/dumb enough not to make a sucky weapon viable, by just changing a single value in an XML sheet.

For me it's a good comeback to MW franchise, I started MWO in February 2016 and next year there will be also the new HBS battletech game.
As for MWO, community is salty but good, there are lots of good people out there trying to help new players.

salt adds flavor, yo! (well, technically, it enhances it, but you know, semantics...)

Well said Ace. Funny, I just posted something of a similar vibe in the daily whine. I felt a need to confess that I've been having fun in FP despite my loathing for what PGI has done or failied to do with the mode. But it has been fun, not because of the game itslf, but rather because of all the great folks I had been dropping with and against this last week.
