While using EXE-C I came across this problem. Its seems like a bug, if it isnt I thank someone who tell me how to correct it.

IMO while arm locking with left shift and MASC with left alt the mech LOCKS forward/backward and/or Direction. This makes the game nearly unplayable.
Powering down and all sort of keys do not make the mech go back to normal.
in resume: the mech keeps turning, and/or moving without any key pressed, lowering throttle doesnt do anything.

You may tell me to change keys but I would like to not do that now that I'am used to them.
The bug section was about maps so I posted here...

Why don't you use arm lock toggle? Unlocking as needed in combat is much easier on the fingers.

I have both toggle masc and apply masc because sometimes it locks on and I have to hit the masc apply button to turn it off

thank you for your answers but I really wanted an official answer from developers. This is either a code mistake or a problem with windows shortcuts.
I hate toggles so if this isnt fixed I'll probably give up on MASC.

The process to start this bug is basically LShift+LAlt+WASD, and BOOM your game is done.

Just confirmed its NOT about MASC, mechs without MASC will also lock with shift alt.
May change the OP title.

might want to check your input language setting in your windows and see if you've got multiple keyboards set up. windows defaults alt + shift to switching keyboard layout and 99% of the games out there would freak out and get input-locked when that happens.

not sure if that same applies to people without multiple keyboard layouts set up though

Hey Mini I see what you mean. If I dont update its because it worked.

I've seen people in game with the problem. Go to contro panel "change keyboards or other..."advanced key settings" "change between languages" remove bindings.
