Hi there, I was wondering if Operation Frontline 2 is planning on being continued for another week. I've been quite dedicated to getting the personal challenges done since the event started whenever my schedule has permitted and am down to a mere 3 light mechs to achieve KMDD on. I understand if I'm **** out of luck, but lights are scarce on scouting and in invasion, picking apart lights and getting KMDD is truly in the hands of being in the right place at the right time. Just curious, I wouldn't want to miss out on a chance to get an executioner, especially having put in all the efforts to.

It's been running for two weeks in total, so it won't be getting extended.

Lights are plentiful in Invasion. Forget scouting, you'll never find lights there.

Run a streakboat, get 3-4 light KMDDs easy in a single game. Just be aware of where they are.

Easy to get lights when you do the clan side. Very hard with the IS. Clanners bring far less lights and there are no viable streak boat builds for IS. However, I think most people have had plenty of time to get this grind done.

Yeah, I don't think anyone who knows what they're doing on the IS side is bringing lights into scouting matches these days. The Oxide is borderline viable, perhaps, but for the amount of damage you need to kick out against Clan mechs, most players have learned that a hard hitting medium gives the best results. I was delighted to see almost everyone bringing Griffins when doing the IS portion of the challenge, rather than trial Commandos.

For the reasons already stated there is no way will it be extended. Add also the fact that we have a new mech in bound, which in turn means the inevitable new mech leader board challenge this weekend. Just no way they would keep a FP event running at the same time as that.

You can get Lights and Mediums in scouting, and believe it or not, people bring lots of Lights into Invasion.

While Clan, my order of completion was IS Mediums, Heavies, Lights, and Assaults.

While on IS, my order of completion was Heavies, Mediums, Lights, and Assaults.

So, you might have some trouble with Assaults, but call out an assault as yours and burn it down, then you're good.

i did manage to get about half my squirrels in scouting. its just at the tail end of the event these games were getting sparse and the only ones dropping on the other side were groups of unit players, and they know enough not to bring lights. after spending all day trying to get 3 kmdds, i just changed my invasion deck where everything ran lbx and streaks, and then got all remaining kmdds in one game.
