As noted, it would be nice to have two "Academy" subsets. Besides the trial mechs, it would allow players to try out other Clan mechs, possibly encouraging them to save a bit longer to purchase Clan mechs, or lay down the MC/actual coin for them.

they should at least have Arctic Cheetahs and Stormcrows in the academy so you can practice running through concentrated weapon fire without taking damage

The stormcrow just has superb hitboxes, slim torsi, great shield arms.

Just like the non-steroidal FS9, or the ACH. RIP FS9.

If you want a medium that just won't die, you need to see a GRF-3M with a STD engine.

I'll raise the question about rotating through some clan Mechs on the showcase row and see if we have the resources/priorities to do this on a regular basis.

A separate Clan training could be fun, keep in mind Clans are a bit more...harsh and training a bit more intense (not content wise but you know more strict feeling).
