I want to share this concept with you guys about customizing your base in Faction Warfare. In order for this to happen, you have to get a unit tag on the planet. Once you do that there will be a tab that says Base Customization. If you are a unit leader this will allow you to customize the appearance of your base however you want. In order to customize your base, you have to use the C-bills in your Unit Coffer as a trade-off.

From here, you are allowed to use the decals and colors that you have paid for with MC. The only drawback is that if you decide that you want to change your base's appearance later, you might have to pay from your unit coffer again.

Spoiler

The good thing about the customization appearance is that should a player land to attack or defend a planet with your unit tag, they will see the various decals and colors that you have put on. So if you are person who represents a canon-friendly unit or your own group, this system would give you a better reason to invest time in faction warfare and protect your planets. It would also make worlds worth fighting for and give a purpose for having unit tags. So what are your thoughts on this system?

I want to be able to customize my base with cannons troops, tanks, elementals, Mechbays, and other cool stuff.

Maybe we could use a customized base as a training ground?

And not just the base either. Why not be able to build up the entire planet with different terrain features? Battles taking place in built up cities, the spaceport, undeveloped swampland, and make your last stand at your base that the invaders may just lay siege to for a little while. Forget ceasefire periods. The planet changes hands after the enemy has succeeded in driving out the defenders with whoever is left in possession of the planet paying for any necessary repairs. War torn planets that really look and feel like it with damaged buildings and torn up ground. Think about it.
