Hello everyone.
Few days ago I decided that I want to upgrade my A La Carte collection from 3 to 6 mechs. I asked support but unfortunately answer was:

Quote

Hello ...
Unfortunately it is not possible to upgrade an À la Carte package while keeping the reduced price bonus.
We could originally do this by giving a refund to users so they could make their purchase again, but in your case that is no longer possible, since you have already received your Mechs, and we cannot take them away.
Let me know if you need anything else.

I think it does not fair. I have preordered my a la carte 6 month ago and i have

right to buy more mechs if I want.

What do you think?

i bought the Summoner pack and would love to pick up an Adder two steps up but there's no way i'm wasting cash on a Dire Wolf i'l never touch (i don't pilot mechs that go slower than 75kph) and buying the Adder a la carte costs the same as buying the Adder (/Puma) collection.

PGI should do a limited offer for people who bought at least part of the Clan Pack to buy any mech a la carte for $55 minus $5 for every mech you already purchased but with a minimum price of $35 per mech

for example i bought the Summoner pack which is 3 mechs, so if i want an Adder i would pay $55 minus $15 for each mech i purchased in the Summoner pack = $40 for the Adder

if i wanted to buy the Stormcrow as well it'd be minus another $5 for both a la carte so $35 each = $70 to get the Adder and the Stormcrow on top of my Summoner pack

if i wanted to add the Timberwolf to the above 2 mechs the price can't be less than $35/mech so for all 3 it'd be $35+$35+$35 = $105 for the additional 3 mechs on top of my Summoner pack

c'mon PGI - another revenue opportunity staring you in the face! i'l throw you at LEAST $70 more for 2 more mechs of my choice as a reward for buying a clan pack - you want to turn down more cash monies?

I think Bad luck. I've never heard of any retail store doing anything like this anywhere ever. Besides you're going to save what? $15? You're spending what? Over $200? Don't worry about it.

There was nothing wrong with the initial founder's set-up....you pay a set price....and then choose the mechs you want..these fixed sets are ridiculous and quite frankly disrespectful at this point. PGI knows full well they can do better for their customers. They chose their wallets instead. Can't blame them for it....but I refuse to fall victim to these predatory practices any longer. Won't give me what i want? This is a free to play game....I can rack up C-bills and wait.
