all russ said was new announcement Thursday. How in the world was that less than your expectations? they must be set so high it's impossible for anything to reach.

I don't think the mechtoberfest event is the announcement in question referred to in the OP.

Russ stated that it would be in regard to a "smaller content type item but unanticipated".

In another thread we were discussion semantics and definition hair-splitting, but I don't think many would consider an event...no matter how unique to be "unanticipated" (we've had near constant events for the last three months) or that such is an event is a "content type item".

I think Russ will have something else to announce on his twitter feed later.

He and I apparently have differnt definitions of "new content". An event is just repackaged old content to me.
