Title basically says it, I saw a player in a match with the title "Probation" - so what is it? It's not in the list and I can't remember anything about such thing.

btw the player is from march 2014 and has only 1 post, so no new account or so.

I had this title displayed on me and didn't know it until someone pointed it out. What I believe it to be is that I had my title set to my faction rank and then haven't even touched FW Phase 3 enough to get out of the loyalist "probation" period in the game mode, thus instead of showing my faction rank it was displaying me as "Probation". At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was.

Dont think so because you'd constantly be on probation because of contracts being only like a week.

I thought they had their own Loyalty rewards instead of getting faction rewards? Maybe I'm just really out of date on FP changes.

they do but you still have to make a contract to play.

The reason only loyalists have probation is because they vote for attack lanes so probation is only there to mitigate gaming of the system.

its for people who break loyalty. and its not as bad as the utter decimation of your lp you get as a result. so you get shot at by former comrades and people who think its some kind of punishment for being bad.

No, probation is when you join a faction, during 10 fights(invasion or scout).

Deserter is the title you will hold for 7 days when you leave a faction. I'm not sure it's forced to show or does it only show if you have selected the "current FP rank" as title.


I think probation is for people farming mechbays, the first one you get really fast from the loyalty points, but now as with the 10 fight probation period, it takes a lot longer during which you get really nothing.
