Well, I guess we're not getting this beauty. . . . ever!

I mean, with Aidan Pryde going to the Summoner, and like me, everyone had their fingers crossed that PGI would definitely add his Timber Wolf to game, it is without doubt, the Widowmaker will not see the light of day in this game.

PGI made multiple hero mechs per chassis before--Fang and Flame. People are also getting two Hero Summoners in the Loyalty program. If there is one thing PGI knows, is to sell more mechs. So don't you worry.

Those "Hero" Summoners in the Loyalty program, are actually C-Bill bonus variants of later to be standard variants. So we'll just have one hero Summoner.

If PGI goes the 2 heroes per chassis route, we'll MAYBE see the Widowmaker in a few years... where it won't even be relevant anymore.

I hope so. Then again, we may get both, Prometheus (Victor Davion's ride) and the Widow as well.

1) Aidan rode and preferred the Summoner most of his career. He was not made into a legend because he drove a Timber Wolf at the end . If wad his deeds, not his mech.

2) Natasha already had her Warhammer, which is much more het signature Mech than the Direwolf.

The only missed opportunity here is, to make Vlad Wards executioner as his hero mech. That would be a nice mech (maybe with a smaler engine to fit dual gauss?).

The future Gargoyle hero has to be Ulrics ride. The sadly thing is, we have the Gargoyle prime already in gamePosted Image .

Gargoyle's hero should be Conal Ward's ride. Only the Light Tag is not in the game, but can be replaced with a SL?

One can hope.

You can make both SARNA (with better medium laser conversion) and TCG versions on the W variant with so , what's the problem ?

Which Kerensky had the Warhammer? I know ive seen Blackwidow Warhammer.

Whats this off Sarna?
Notes

While there is much fan speculation that Natasha piloted 'Mechs with advanced Star League technology in her early career with Wolf's Dragoons, there are no canon references to support this. Her Marauder, captured by the Bounty Hunter in 3014, was upgraded by him following a Periphery mission in 3015 with equipment from a Star League cache uncovered during that mission.[10] Her iconic Warhammer is a stock WHM-6R, maintained in perfect condition.[11]

You can make Prometheus on the game using stock omnipods and B or W variants CT chassi as a base except you won't have that sweet left arm 5 energy hardpoint for maximun conversion of the 3x LRG PLS lasers + 2x LRG Lasers.

Where exactly is a Warhammer IIC listed? Please enlighten me?

I see mention of a stock WHM-6R. Not remotely the same as a WHM-IIC. Please consult the underlined sections of your own post?

When attempting snark (Whats this off Sarna?), it helps to actually have something supporting said attempt. Allow me to remind you of your post:

Oh yeah. They could always come up with an excuse to include new hero mechs, being their own creations (Fang and Flame?) or lore/ canon.

Again, seems the best way to get your wishes is ask Russ on twitter. Never know you know.

if we get another dwf hero, id like one with lower arm actuator on the side that doesnt have one yet, and 3+ nrg hardpoints on said arm. that would really help.
im happy with the dual ballistic arms that we got, though.
but damn, so many variants and still only ONE SINGLE OMNIPOD WITH LOWER ARMACTUATOR.

I still think Vlad Ward's "Executioner" is a custom Dire Wolf configuration and not an actual modification of the Executioner chassis like the BattleTech MUL says. It makes more sense as a Dire Wolf, the 'mech being a Clan Wolf assault omni.

We probably didn't get Natasha Kerensky's "Widowmaker" because we can make it in-game. Why pay for a 'mech when you can make it with an in-game chassis and omnipods with C-Bills?

I definitely think it's weird when PGI misses opportunities like this. I'm not even a hardcore BT fan, I never played TT or read the novels, and even I know about the Widowmaker. People have been talking about it on the forum since 2013, or longer.

Same with the Summoner M-variant. Ok, they put it in the game, but not as Nicolai Malthus' special custom ride, but instead as some weird acid tripping loyalty variant, with a paintjob right out of an Austin Powers movie.
