Want to know the best builds for this guy since I've sunk at least 2 mil in it already. I have that sinking feeling I've wasted money, so I want to know what good builds are out there before I put anymore in. Thanks, and the one I've got is the C variant.

Go for 2x LBX10 in the side torsos, and 2x ER Mediums in the CT. Drop armor on the arms to 1 point, make sure your engine is an XL250 or larger, then add ammo and armor to taste. Unless you intend to show your back to the enemy, make sure you're putting 80% or more of your armor to the front. (I usually have 10 in the CT rear, and 8 on the sides)
I usually get 1-2 kills and 6-10 assists, with over 400 damage on mine.

To confirm, do you have the HBK-IIC(C) variant or the HBK-IIC-C variant? One of them is a champion build of the "standard" IIC and the other is another variant of its own.
Assuming you mean the latter, this is what I run on mine to surprisingly good effect if I play my cards right: HBK-IIC-C
Adjust ammo, jump jets and an AMS as you see fit, remember that your place is second-line direct fire support (but at the same time if you get lucky with the jam chance then the UAC5s can hold up at mid-close ranges)

if you're struggling with your variant maybe try the -A variant, which is more new-user friendly. Just put on 2 erpeeps or 6 mpl and enjoy.

You could always go all in with dual LB20-X. http://mwo.smurfy-ne...6731e91907d854c
That was made on base IIC variant, but works on -C too.

Tried the LBX 20, very strong. Though that was before I did a dumb and changed the loadout. I rarely use jumpjets so not gonna use that. Thanks for the help, I think I'm gonna rebuild him one more time and then I'll be good with it.

You run dual UAC5 with nothing but UAC10 ammo? How do you fire them?
I don't, I run the mech into my enemies and wait for the ammo explosion to kill them all
(Obviously not, I just forgot to change it on the smurfy build oops)

Suicide mech would be an awesome idea to implement into the game... Fusion engine explosions damaged you in previous games, but MWO doesn't even have them. Exploding ammo should be able to do 0.25x damage to any enemy within 5m IMO.

Try it with an ultra 20 and ultra 10 with an xl235.

I think the Hunchi IIC is one of the best chassis in the game for fun cause there's literally nothing you can't build for it. Dakka. Got it. Gauss vomit. Got it. PPC/PPFLD stuff. Got it. Laser vomit. Got it. All on a battle mech you can tailor to your tastes with jump jets and high mounts. You can even turn it into a splat boat thought the hit boxes are a little to paper for that imo. But you could totally do it if you wanted to XD
