If anything the most disappointing part of the Heros is that they are not being offered as a collection. There is no huge incentive to order them early. They will likely go into Mastery Packs that will at least offer premium time.
It would have been better to see them as 2 sets of 4 mechs in a preorder for $45 with the 6,000,000 Cbills and cockpit items, war horns. the standard preorder stuff.

I dunno. I can't support the pricing... Heroes have in the past been $15 (add on).

Say what you will about the whole "you get a mech bay with it..." but you have ALWAYS gotten a mechbay with a cash purchase of a mech (to avoid errors). So that's not persuasive. A standing item? meh. Sure, it's nice and we go ape over them in events, but even if it weren't sight unseen it'd be hard to call that bargained well and done.

No premium time? Still kinda meh. It's nice to have, but not something I go out of my way to get.

No pre order bonuses, no prem time, no incentive and (in most cases) a bump in single mech pricing...

maybe if it came with a lore-faction pack for colors (3 instead of 6) or something, sure. But like this, no =(

It's difficult to offer them in collection form because the prime and standard variants have been released for a while now. These are the add-ons to the Wave 1 Clan Collection that's been previously released.

I wouldn't be purchasing the Kit Fox hero if I was forced to buy three more heroes of which I may or may not own standard versions. I wouldn't have been opposed to offering a Clan Hero Collection A (with the Kit Fox, Nova, Summoner, and Dire Wolf), and Clan Hero Collection B (with the Adder, Stormcrow, Timber Wolf, and Warhawk), so long as it were in addition to the a la carte purchasing.

Also remember all these mechs have C-Bill boosting bonuses so you're not going to get them at 4 for $45, let alone also with C-Bills, warhorns, and premium time stuff thrown in.

I just kicked a price out there. Right now it would be $70 to buy a set of 4 in each scale? why not give a $10 discount? make it $60. A mastery pack comes with a C-Bill boosting varient and cost between $17-$41 so to me $25 for a single Hero feels like a lot.
Id think enough people purchased the Clan Wave 1 set to offer it as a package but I could be wrong and some of those same players are also no longer playing.
