Yellow Cooldown Bar And Jam Mechanic For Uacs

I had an idea for a different jam mechanic for UACs. Currently a pilot has 2 options for firing UACs: either fire the same speed as normal AC, or fire at double that rate but risk a causing a weapon jam. This is in keeping true with tabletop but I do not think it is the best option for MWO.

I think that in the same spirit as the energy draw system (a time based shrinking overheat penalty from firing too fast), there should be a shrinking Jam chance if you fire more slowly.
There could be a yellow jam chance bar along with the red weapon cooldown bar. Whichever bar is shorter could be overlayed on top of the other.

Every time the weapon is fired the yellow jam chance bar could be filled to max and start shrinking so that the longer the player waits before firing another shot the lower the jam chance would be. The mechanic could be tweaked as to whether all shots fired have a chance to cause weapon jam or just the secondary shots. Another possible tweek is the bar could max out at what is visible or instead be like the mech-heat gauge and have an invisible spillover. Another set of options is to either have a jam be guaranteed if there is continued fast fire or the jam chance just reaches a certain maximum but not 100%.
