instead of the bad map vote give us the option to chose from a dropdeck
(4x scout lance like 1x mech dropdecks; 2 are free 2 can be purchased additionaly f.e.)
and replace the map vote screen with a mech select screen right before the random selected
map starts. This way everbody has the chance to be best suited for every upcoming map!
This woud be far more contributing to the huge ammount of available awesome maps in MWO
and woud stop the annoying repetitivity that is present in MWO atm thanks to map vote.
Because the real reason that people dislike specific maps is because the loadout they have
is not fitting map.

that would just mean 12:12 LRM boats on 2 ice maps, UAC vomit on Therma, JJs on every mech in canyon.

The best way to make the game boring.

I dislike the results of the current Voting system, I mean, I've played so much Mining collective, HPG Manifold and Canyon Network, so much the last days, it's downright ridiculous (and getting very very stale), but this? Having a prepared build for every map, would just produce even more specialised builds (making the game harder/worse for new players and non-meta players) and the game would get even more stale.Total LURMageddon on the polar highlands (giving the team that got that accidental Pirates Bane an Instant-win). Total Brawler Builds in the Canyon Network. Extreme ER-Laser Vomit in Frozen City and annoyances for everyone who didn't come with a 110% specialised Mech.

What about: Instead of building "one trick ponies", that work very good on a few maps, make loadouts that you can actually work with, on every terrain?
