How about a Lore based game mode where not all weapons and mechs are nerfed to "balance the game"? Like letting Clan mechs be more powerful, but implementing Clan Honor system- like no legging hits on IS mechs- because that was considered dishonorable. Or with last mech standing the Clan mechs power down and ony one Clan mech at a time is able to finish off the remaining IS mechwarrior? We used to implement these rules during league play. I remember one time our CO was able to win a match because the Clanners had to follow their code and he was able to defeat them at the end after we all died...Glorious moments like that worthy of song!
