Considering we're getting the Hatchetman soon, I'd be outright annoyed if they didn't implement melee. After all, adding melee mechs is kind of stupid and a waste if they can't swing that axe that takes up a significant amount of the mech's tonnage.

I just returned back to the game and saw the Hatchetman. If that was released without any axe action implemented, thats just criminal.
I do feel melee would really help this game, in the Battletech game the IS mechs tend to get melee quirks while the clans obviously dont. Throw that in and slightly unnerf some of the clan tech and you got yourself a game. Also you'd need to allow IS mechs to MASC and/or that polymolmer thing that makes you faster when you're hotter.
It used to have a charge/knockdown mechanic near the start didnt it?

i say no to this chief theres not a need for it but the time you get into combat range your arms are gonna be blown off by some lrmer or clanner with erlarges there wont be anything to hit with
