Could anyone suggest a good deal for a laptop? I know there are a lot of sales now, but I'm not much of a tech head. I'd be looking to spend up to $1500.

Here is a decent laptop on sale. List is $1699 and is on sale for $1279. Huge screen, good for MWO, sucks for portability.

Would NOT go with that for $1200+ as it uses the GTX 970m, which is already outclassed by gaming laptops that have the similarly priced (but 30-35% better in 1080p gaming) GTX 1060.

As Lord Letto has shown in his links, there are already better "gaming laptop" options available, starting with the GTX 1060.

Disclaimer: I am an owner of an MSI 17" gaming laptop (MSI Dominator GT72 6QD), which has a GTX 970m + G-Sync.
If I had $1200-$1500 to blow on a gaming laptop, I'd get one with a GTX 1060 + G-Sync.
