I ran that when it was released, and it was definitely fun, but for a dedicated brawler I think the SPLs sustain damage better.

I prefer the extended range of the medium lasers myself.

Should XL 390 be the engine I'm using in more of them?

Speed is life, and an XL390 will have you outrunning a lot of heavies.

You could save some more weight going down to an XL380 on long-range builds, and that's the engine that hits about the optimal speed-to-weight ratio. Honestly, though, on most of the variants, you'll find yourself running out of crit space, before you need the extra 2.5 tons that you get from stepping down from an XL390 to an XL380. On brawlers, I'll try to free up the extra 3.5 tons for an XL400 to both run and twist that little bit faster.

I don't know nothing about no Cyclops but the Warhammer 7D does not exist in this game that I am aware of. Did you mean the 6D? Or the 7S? If it's the 7S you are having trouble with, the 7S is my favorite of the Warhammers so I might be able to help you with the Warhammer 7S.

7S. I'm not sure what good it is. I've got plenty of SRM boats.
