It's been a long time since I've last played and while there are a lot of good improvements, this was an old pet-peeve that was, for a time, fixed, but now it has taken a step backward.

I don't know about other people, but when I select a mech and hit "quick play," by default, that means I want to use that mech in a match. Now I must confirm the obvious before being placed in a queue.

2 years ago when I was last posting about this button, you had to select to search for normal games or private games (that were never in session or password protected anyway), 99% of the people don't care about browsing private games.

Now, you must confirm that you actually want to search for games at all. I don't understand this development team's thought process in thinking they need to add more stops and steps and useless options to the "quick play" button when people are looking for, you know, a quick game.

Please, 1 click to queue and leave it alone.

The only time you have to confirm it. Is if you have another mech still in a match.

So this suggests you are jumping in a match, dying, quitting, then trying to jump straight in another match.

It is one click to queue...
