I think for beta testing purposes they want people who will give lots of feed back and also have a lot of different types of computer configurations. So first come first serve, which would be awesome, doesn't help the devs test the game as much.

pretty sure its totally random and there are so many people on now its more about load testing than them actually choosing specific pc specs for beta testing... I could be wrong though I guess.

In honor of the fact that it would really help to ease my nerves while waiting for her to start delivering piglets (plus I have a college physics exam in the morning) I have made this tribute to the mech start-up sequence based on pig farrowing (having babies). Begging the great Beta Gods (Paul.... the check is in the mail) to distract me by making me watch a download bar.

Since I've logged more time in a cockpit than Natasha Kerensky and Kai-Allard Laio combined, and written more on the topic of battletech than Mike Stackpole, and still 25 years later can remember how many armour points any mech from 3025 has in any parts it its body (perhaps not the rear torsos),....

...I can only assume they just want it to be perfect before daring to present the final version to me.

As much as a Beta Key would be nice atm my current computer couldn't handle the game (it can barely handle streaming video), The computer I'm building though will be ready just in time for Early Access and ready for anything MWO will throw at it.
