Are you getting any of the loyalty mechs? That would be a good start.

I need to pick up a couple of Blackjacks, already picked up my 2 extra Hellbringers during the heavy sale, not sure about the Cataphract, and I'm not getting the Stalker or Summoners (want the Stalker, but $60 doesn't seem worth it).

Light:
Puma (or Jenner IIC that lacks H or CT energy hardpoint, but it has 1-2 CT missile hardpoints)
- keep in mind that Puma will require a different playstyle than your Spider

Medium
Ryoken (H energy hardpoint)
- one of the best Mediums in the game

Heavy
- Madcat (CT energy hardpoint)

Assault
- Daishi (two energy hardpoints in CT and one enrgy in H), but this 'Mech is not axactly famous for boating energy\ weapons
- Kodiak (some variants have CT energy hardpoints)

Grab a Zeus for assault, 9s has ct spot for LG pulse or erll, phawk 1b or enforcer for medium. Phawk is just so pretty and 1b has high mount right torso laser and enforcers are tanky little ******** and are fun as he'll.
