It has a locked multiplier, so the only way to OC it is by upping the bus frequency from 100mhz towards 125mhz/etc and increasing voltage. From searches I was not able to locate any writeups, and a few looking to OC are told it is not worth it. And even if you could OC, it will be increments and you may get 100/200mhz increase, thus not getting much out of it.
If your motherboard is A58MD, upping the CPU dual to a quad K version with OC ability and with a higher default speed may be the way to go if you are not looking at getting a new system.
AMD A6 6400K - 3.9ghz dual core
AMD A10 6800K = 4.1ghz quad core
Do take into considering your PSU which you had not posted any info about.

if you are not good with computers, you should NOT touch overclocking. period.

Where can i find my PSU?

Also thank you for the advice!
When I noted the lack of the PSU info, that was to determine whether or not you could upgrade your CPU as the K versions pull more power. Again the info is not needed for the OC of your current CPU since it can not be OC by any amount. Open the side case, there is usually a label on the PSU.
At this point though you may be better off getting a new updated system.

Well my mom is getting me a new gpu to plug into a slot in my computer to boost my performance, they did research and idk which one they are getting though cause its for my birthday. Any suggestions on how to boost my performance to at least 20 or 30 fps?
I run at 10 to 15 and its terrible... i run other games just perfectly but its just this game that puts my computer to shame....

Well, Happy Birthday!
Have you taken the case off your computer? Have you blown out all dust buildup on CPU/GPU/etc heatsinks?
http://mwomercs.com/...ormance-issues/
1. Make sure computer power use is set to "performance,"
2. Make sure you have your graphics card interface settings set to "use application setting". If you have the option, make sure that you have thread optimization on. (I think only Nvidia users have this option)
3. try setting your desktop appearance to performance and not quality, there are also plenty of windows features you can turn off, all that extra junk you dont need. (Control panel/programs/programs and features/Turn Windows Features on or off)

13. Ive been made aware through your comments of an important feature called "turbo boost" for laptop users. Its a built in overclocking feature that speeds up the cpu over the factory recommended limit. But its regulated by standards that may hold your laptop back. This may actually directly effect your fan speed... and stuff, the end result is that you get better performance. I honestly noticed no difference. Here is a link if you wanna take a look yourself http://www.tautvidas...el-turbo-boost/ provided byTarl Cabot. I'm just gonna leave it as default myself... I dont like messing with actual hardware settings. Also Im not responsible if anything happens to your pc. I dont think anything bad would happen though. Just read through the link, and take a look at this post here.
1. If you wanna give it a try, open control panel,
2. Select "hardware and sound",
3. Then select "power options"
4. select "change advanced power settings"
5. scroll to "Processor Power Management"
6. change "minimum processor state" to 97%
7. Change "maximum processor state" to 98%
Run 32bit instead of 64bit
Temp Workaround. (edited some)
Drill to your MWO folder/Bin32, right click on MWOClient.exe and select send to desktop as a shortcut.
Then right click on the shortcut, properties, Shortcut tab. Add to the end of the target line a space after the " then -nopatch and save.
Example of how mine is setup
Standalone
Target: "F:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MWOClient.exe" -nopatch
Start in: "F:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32"
****************
Steam Version
Target: "F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MechWarrior Online\Bin32\MWOClient.exe" -nopatch
Start In: "F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MechWarrior Online\Bin32"
Make sure to fully patch the game first.
PS. Make sure it is MWOCLIENT.exe in 32BIN folder, NOT the MechwarriorOnline.exe (patcher) nor MWOClient.exe in the 64Bin folder.
Okay, I think am finished editing
