Haunted And Hunted Event

sometimes it just happens in spurts, and followed with a long dry period, which can last more then 3 hours.
I just vote for it every time, partially because it's my favorite, the other is to help those that have only a hour or 2 of play time (during the event)
nothing happening in CW, so guess I'll be in Quick play to get my trick or treat bags, and voting for Terra Therma

The most difficult part of this event was definitively getting the kills / KMDDs on the Huntsmen... Luckily I am done with that part as on four days I got the needed result in the last or second to last game possible during that day's counter and utterly failed on three days. Which meant LONG evenings... as for me the event day ends at three in the morning... ZZZZZZ.

As mentioned above, we see the highest uptick between 8pm - 10pm EST (people that ether haven't finished are trying after the daily flipover or people that have are voting to help them out... I do that too)
As for Daily vs. Weekend format, if the forum responses are generally held as any reasonable polling, folks that do not like this new Daily format are not going to be happy as it's been very positively accepted from all I've been reading the past two passes.
Personally, I LOVE being able to sit down for 20 - 60 minutes after dinner, knock out my dailies... no stress then if we want to keep playing, go to bed, watch the game, etc. I also get to go back to rotating through my mechs and leveling since I am not dependant on running only my "best" performer to make the challenge goals. It's been great to not miss out on events because life happens on weekends.
So, yeah, I'd be extremely surprised if they went back to 'weekend-cram-it-all-in-all-day-gaming' challenges.

If PGI could set it so that a high match score could net multiple grab bag pulls then the event reduces the 15 game grind ... so if you end up with a 1200 match score then in 1 match you would get the full 15 grab bag pulls ...

Kinda cheezy but true. Best to take a high alpha assault or light as the queues tend to be shorter for these.

NO ... just no ...
Just think back to when you where new to mwo and how would you feel if the entire red team kept focusing you first every time you dropped in that trial mech?
If there was a way to 'lock' trial mechs to a minimum tier, then yeah ... you know what you are signing up for. But until then, no

As for 'hunting the new chassis' events, maybe it'll be good for PGI to actually choose one variant and make it trial mech for a period of event - as a 'demo' mech. People would check it out, some of them may like it and buy the full pack afterwards (or not). Also it'd significantly increase the availability of targets to hunt for

Now, of course you could say too little incentive for the really really good players to participate. Or you could say that no group farming could be organized for this low a prize. Either way: I like it much better this way (not owning a HMN).
