Just wanted to say a big thanks to PGI for this years customer rewards.

I'm especially loving the new omipods for the summoner. I've always struggled to make a Summoner build that I really enjoy. The new pods have solved that.

Haha! I don't think so. I am not throwing another $60USD at this game anytime soon. Done too much bouncing around the world, but not enough working. :D

Now I have 3 special variant Summoners. The only Clan mech I like. Most excellent. Time to revamp that Clan dropdeck. Three Summoners and an Arctic Cheetah :) . Yeah.

I like the Stalker too, though I never wanted those. Now I need to buy a 3F and 4M so I cen elite this thing. The Loki and BJ-2...not sure about those. The Cataphract looks interesting. I'll need to invest in a 0XP and a 4X, perhaps.

The Gatling warhorns are hilarious, by the way. I approve highly.

I've only been playing with the Cataphract so far and its a lot of fun. Its got insane structure quirks so I'm running the biggest XL possible (340XL) with MASC which lets me do bursts in the 90's but should be in the 100's with speed tweak. And high mounts on a Cataphract?? Really unique mech IMO.

4N and 5M are the best Stalkers right now.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the ECM Stalker. Running 2 LL, 4 ML, 2 LRM10s, and 2 SRM6s. She's Hot, Heavy, and takes a pounding, but I've been getting good return for her...... Damn.... that makes me sound like a Pimp, Lol.

Indeed. I will in all probability get the most use out of the Blackjack, since I mostly drive mediums and lights, but the CTF, HBR, and STK are much appreciated as well (Stalkers in particular I've been meaning to get around to for a while, and now I have an excuse). The stock equipment, even though I stripped all of it off and sold a bunch of it, actually helped me finish several other builds, so it was kinda like getting a double bonus. It's also very, very nice that all the reward 'Mechs this year came with the DHS tax pre-paid. Posted Image

That said, please do a reward variant light 'Mech next year. I'd love to have it, even if it's a badmech. Perhaps especially if it's a badmech. I'm beginning to think y'all have forgotten that there are even 'Mechs in the game that mass under 40 tons. Still, muchos gracias for the new robbits.

Got them all and the Huntsman as well. So far the Huntsman is a great new medium and looking forward to the Summoners and the Stalker. I am sure I will get to all of them and it does add value to the money spent all year.

Just a thought, would it kill you guys to take one or two months out of the next cycle though and add a few lights? Quite frankly I have a back log off mediums through assaults already on order or in bays to level. The next couple of offerings I am passing on.

At the end of last year I started playing and love advancing and leveling units. Just missed the Kodiak by the time I figured out the game. Have every pack since the PHX except the Linebacker (maybe just me but I just don't see what this mech is about), but until either I get way board with my current stable or they release a light I am good to go. Light mechs matter#

After piloting 100T forever, I got a shiny new Hellbringer. Set it up with 2LPL and 5spl, ECM, CAP, TC1 and it is more tanky than my bloody Kodiak. Not as much alpha, but it's sustainable damage adds up fast, and between how maneuverable it is, and how much it can spread damage, I'm really liking it.

The best bit by far compared to driving the 100T, is people ignore me! Makes a real change from getting focused immediately as soon as I poke my head around a corner. I simply stick beside (and slightly behind) the nearest Kodiak on my team and take it upon myself to act in a supporting role to the fattie - as I so often wished others would have done when I was running my Kodiak. The result is that the reds usually aim for the fattie first, and my damage output in support of the fatties damage shreds the reds in seconds before the fattie takes too much damage - especially in close.

The ECM is kinda nice too :)

Thank you PGI!

It was nice to get the rewards from the event and the loyalty rewards yesterday, along with the new Terra Therma. Felt like it was Christmas yesterday post-patch.

Most valuable things I got tho, was the total of 2 mechbays. Those are really nice. Sure, one came with a blackjack I'm probably not gonna use much since it's in my "Clan account", but hey, it's still great.

Also, love the cupcake.

Thank you PGI.

Thanks PGI for the "new" map that gets overplayed until the virtual hell becomes a literal hell.

I get that you want to show off this "new" map, but overplaying it sucks.

I like it, actually. Mostly because of the high heat, although UAC is still king.

It's not the map itself...it's the fact that it is *both* weighted to appear more often and is incentivized by the event so that people will select it. To play any map 8+ times in a row is frigging ridiculous.
