Only when you stop asking for the madcat mark 2.

Actually, not even then, because CW is the only mode in this game that's actually enjoyable.

CW was never enjoyable it was shooting fish in barrel simulator 2016. It was boring for god players and a nightmare to the fish who got massacred.

No you missed the point again which at this point I'm not surprised. AI will be the filler that the potatos used to be. At this point you've got very little chance of getting a potato to come back and be fodder for the experienced units.

So quit trying to make this games focus be CW for any longer it failed.

AI is the worst thing for potatoes, because they will generally not learn to up their game... it'll only be enough vs AI (which has never been a high bar), and not for actual people that have a clue.

In every MW game, the AI has never brought players to a high level of intelligence. It's actually "getting a clue" that usually works more effectively than anything else.

CW has to function well, or it's always going to be a Mechpack Warfare Welfare game.

It's not about making them better because if that was PGI's goal they would have never used PSR and Tiers to protect people.

Units shooting potatos or AI will be no different so you guys will finally have matches! Hurray!

CW doesn't need to die, it needs to be reworked so it's not just QP 2.0 with planet selection and respawns.

reworked ? Dude that is not enough. What you are starting with to "reworK" is just QP matches strung together.
They would need to start from scratch and you know what?
I would rather they started on Solaris or something people have been asking for.

That assumes PGI designed Tiers well (which they didn't in a massively flawed way).

This game would just end if there aren't any non-potatoes in this game (the whining about competence would reach an all time high).

Most of the good players already washed their hands of this game. CW is dead nothing outside of forcing it on people or adding AI to it will make it playable. If you force it in people what potatos are left in quick-play will bleed off there as well.

Regardless I'm right that CW was going to fail without a proper filler (AI) and foundation single player / coop (added revenue streams to sell maps, assets, and other fluff like pilot outfits etc)

If I'm a new player why should I play CW? What part of the game can I relate to without going to Sarna or having prior knowledge about factions gives me interest in factions?

AI doesn't develop good players... it just reinforces bad habits more often than not.

No... CW failed because of PGI. That's pretty much it. The Long Tom was the icing on that cake.

You do realize that PGI has put zero effort into the lore section other than trying to sell mechpacks? Referencing sarna is nice, but again, I'm not lore nerd and PGI could not be bothered to even copy+paste some of that content.

I personally love CW, and I play with some of the best players in MWO on occasion. They love CW too. What we don't love is the imbalance between clan and IS, which PGI won't fix because, IMO they don't have too as people keep buying these Mech packs and not caring about actual game improving content! CW should have been the focus of this game from the beginning, and QP just something extra on the side. How the hell is your TBR MkII going to improve the game, or keep players interested? QP is fun for a while, but it gets so boring playing skirmish (because every match becomes skirmish regardless) on the same 3-4 maps for hours on end. Yes CW needs a major over haul, more maps, and better balance, but I would rather PUG for a good 12 man all night use a little bit of actual strategy from time to time and lose than this game become nothing more than "look how shiny the new QP map is, by the way here is a new Mech......buy it!" As long as we as a community keep showing them we will spend or money on the fancy looking new skin, they will never have the incentive to fix the failing organs
