I find my left hand is completely occupied with movement keys save my thumb which can only comfortable reach the space bar which I wish to keep as jump.

How common are MASC macros? I have a Corsair Strafe which I have never utilized advanced key functions with. Is double tapping W or S the best approach in your opinion? What timings work well for the key delay?

My right hand is using a Razer Deathadder with all mouse buttons used.

My gift to you. Buy this:

https://www.amazon.c...ds=scythe+pedal

I have one and it is amaaaaazing. Having 3 extra buttons which cost you no hand/finger time/exertion whatsoever is just awesome.

Get a G13, bind the buttons and stick in a layout that makes most logical sense to you, and have fun.

Annnddd foot pedal just hit my Christmas list. The one linked above was pretty steeply priced if oyu have a tight nerd gaming budget, but does bring 3 new buttons to the table. If you want to be thrifty you can also get a single pedal for ~$10 (amazon). Tbh though I just keep using LAlt for Masc. I only have MASC on the new loyalty Phract (have yet to use it) and the Shadow cat.

Since I never JJ and Masc at the same time rolling the thumb works really well as a transition from one to the other.

I also don't often brawl in it, opting to go with more range focused builds and dancing with the Accl/Deccel, or using trolly stun lock builds to dance till they shut down.

Steeply priced but pedals have to be pretty durable. Your choice.

A MASC macro?

I just keyed MASC to "E".

I usually use the "W" key for most of my movement, so the E key is easy to place my index finger on.

Using MASC, especially in an Executioner, I've been able to pull off some truly amazing maneuvers, like dodging LRM's or poking behind buildings.

Its very practical.

First off you'll need a rubber band and a paper clip. Second, I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Could try ditching the keyboard and going with a keypad. I use the Razer Tartarus myself for mech movement and functions. Pretty solid so far. Originally the Nostromo Keypad from Belkin, which lasted me 4 years of heavy usage before thumb pad physically broke. So if you have had mediocre experience with other Razer products (like I have), know this wasn't originally engineered by them.

Use the keypad for mech movement, and the thumb pad for JJ and MASC.
