Some people have asked how to lower their PSR. Well after playing the Huntsman 7 days and mastering it my PSR went from about 3.7 to about 3.1. Tried all the configs except the 8x missile, don't have those. Maybe 8x missile is better.

2 UAC5 and 4 Medium lasers works quite well


Also, it doesn't help that they had a stupid event that actually encourages the entire enemy team to single you out. But it's over now, so should get better.

Seriously, I have posted more negativity about the Huntsman than virtually anyone else on these forums but even with all the flaws it has, the Huntsman can perform at least adequately well, at least not bad enough to pull someones PSR down. I think it does have a bit higher skill ceiling that some other mechs though so that be a factor.

Not really. There may be a bounty but for probably the majority of people, they have already bagged their 6 kills so like me there is no need to hunt the Huntsman any more.

No that one didn't. HBK IIc is one of the better IIc's, a bit fragile, but shoots over cover well.

It's not the mech. I'm pretty much surviving most matches and knocking out a couple of would be Huntsman hunters in the process. Don't get me wrong, I've had my derp matches where I over extend myself or just turn the wrong corner, but without fail, those are my responsibility, not the machine's.

1 x uac5, 5erml and a ssrm6 is my favorite build so far (I don't chase the meta) and it's very successful at engaging at all ranges and as the fight inevitably closes in, the damage potential goes up. Once the hunt challenge ends, the Huntsman is really going to be able to shine with a capable pilot.

well congrats on getting your Mechs into master

Huntsman is a good Mech on paper and some what fun in the Mechlab
the lack of mobility really hurts any medium Mech

I put the Huntsman 5 out of 10 which is where most people want all Mechs
I think its called balance

Except there are many mechs that are better than 5/10, so you are actually saying the Huntsman is on the weak side.

I didn't drop PSR levelling phoenix hawks, at all. I think the general consensus is that Huntsmans are better than Pixies.

Losing PSR AT ALL (i mean over a period of time, not any individual match) in this games upwards biased system implies .. a problem located somewhere between keyboard and chair.
