Hello Sweeties and Salties,

I received both loyalty Summoners, and now I need a third so I can elite them.

I've avoided them because of their terrible reputation, but I'd like to elite them and I have to keep the loyalty variants anyway, so...

Which Summoner do people think is the easiest to basic out of the Summoners available for C-Bills?

Party On!

Hrm..... maybe the Summoner B. for LRMs and SRM/Streak boating since all the other pods you can use on your loyalty ones to outfit to be laser boats.

Get the B, already have all the pods put together for an SRM bomber.

Being omnimechs, they're all equal when it comes to how difficult they will be to level. Just pick the one that you'll have to swap out the least omnipods for to make a loadout you like.

There two builds are nice:

Nice builds, D1000.

I really like the 5ASRM6 build. How do you deal with the limitations of its load-out?

I just play it like an SRM brawler. Griffins, Mad Dogs, and Stormcrows are pretty similar to it. It runs fast and its maneuverability is better than medium mechs and it gets jump jets on top of that. Try not to rush in alone though, that'll get you killed quick. Wait to take out lone enemies with a small group or wait for the teams to collide on each other, at that point try to spread damage equally to both sides and not lose your arms. You can also poptart at close range and hit people with the arm missiles easily enough.

I've just played quite a lot of brawlers, so its mostly second nature to me. I liked Executioners, the Spirit Bear, Griffins, Atlases, Black Knights, Centurions, and Novas. I especially played the Executioners and Novas which have the same issue as the Summoner with most hardpoints being in the arms. I learned for those mechs that instead of fully arm shielding I'd have to just twist back and fourth a bit more to try to get my torsos to absorb a bit more damage than they normally would just arm shielding.

I picked the D for CT quirks.. the pods i could get on other mechs.. Though i think a few have the same, i know the prime is different

Is there a reason you split the ammo in 1/2t?
The SRM/UAC seems very interesting. I will try it these days.

Crit padding. Each half box of ammo has the same component HP as a full box, so it makes it much harder to take out a lot of ammo at once if I do get crit and makes machine guns and LBX just spread all over the place.
