My own quirk?

I pilot a dire wolf. So for it to have a single quirk would be almost impossible to imagine, let alone be able to create your own quirk!

simply not gonna happen.

All Mechs


all armor and structure set to 1 when standing still despite been told that you are getting flanked.

I like the idea of using quirks to give mechs their lore feel. Sure balance based will continue to be used but doing so from a lore standpoint would be good.

How a quirk that extends a mech's sensor range? Or a quirk that decreases the range at which you're detected?

Only on April Fools Day, Urbie gets +200 everything! Ballistic range and cooldown, energy same, structure AND armor, accel/decel, just every quirk ever. And an event for kills/KMDDs and Urbie v Urbie. Leaderboard to match. Would make for a hilarious and fun event. Imagine the 12v11 urbies with a timber that gets thrown in and TKed for being an elitest jerk.

...That is actually a quirk most would approve of and want. Therefore, PGI is unlikely to take your suggestion. GO BACK TO YOUR ISLAND but buy a mechpack first, please?

Only match make you against opponents with <100 average match score.

I would suggest lore quirks for the HBKs and HBK IIC but I am not sure the fans of those mechs would be happy , myself included since it is about the only damn thing I pilot, with increased critical chance agaisnt them and decreased structure values.

Instead what I would like to see on a HBK and HBK IIC , mostly HBK IIC these days , is faster torso turn rate or faster acceleration and deceleration.

I got one! At first I thought all the quirks had been added, at least useful makes sense quirks. But then I got to thinking about repair and rearm and maybe an easier to repair or more difficult to repair quirk could be added some time. Not sure I like the idea even but it may be a good quirk some day and would make sense. sim ftw

Panther quirk: er ppc heat generation minus fifty percent and er ppc velocity speed increased seventy percent. Only works on panther light mechs.

5vs quirk: med laser heat gen minus forty percent. Only work on spider 5v.

Booster rockets: jump jet burn time minus fifty percent.

Pilot's Will: critical chance receiving minus thirty percent upon being alpha attacked.

Sight beyond sight: Sensor boost sixty percent. Applies to any light mech.

Ramming speed: ramming/collision damage increased by one hundred percent. Applies to atlas only.

The nuke: lrm damage increased to 1.5 per missile.

Mobile Medic: Spawn mobile repair field unit which repairs twenty percent of a mechs total health and spawns for only ten seconds one time use per match.

The Duke: No guass charge time. Increases guass reload speed by fifteen seconds.

I like how most people blatantly ignored the rule to NOT design the +1000% anything and keep the game in a semblance of,,, a balance game...

(because it makes sense in the lore that if Urbie is damaged, he is all of a sudden doing 3000% damage...)

On the side note, for people that do take it seriously, I like many of your ideas. Keep it coming!

"Backless LRM Bay" - For every 5 LRMs fired 1 point of damage is done directly behind the mech in a 35 meter cone.
