[Star Commander Kreig]

I am at a loss since last patch. Just to set the stage, I'll go through my game start up sequence:

- Hit desktop icon to bring up 64 bit patcher, hit PLAY button.

- Wait through credit screens, then type in name and password (everything normal thusfar).

Instead of next going to "connecting screen" with mech bay in the background as should be normal, I NOW get a totally black screen. After a few moments, background music comes on (which I normally have set to zero volume), and I get control of the standard MWO mouse. When I move the mouse, I can hear the standard mouse over button sounds you expect to hear when in the mech lab.

I've read of exactly this occurance in a forum post from a year ago, but no answer. I tried running the repair tool. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue.

Any ideas?
