This is why PGI doesn't want to handle user-made content. Not because it's not possible but because they are too damned stupid to do it right. They just made that abundantly obvious.

They could've consulted a lawyer long before they did what they did. It's not the most complicated concept, but hey - it's easier to embarrass yourself than to do due diligence.

People need to stop telling us how to make this game better. We know best.

If one has that view/attitude toward the people to whom they are selling a product, it should not be a shock to anyone if that attitude is expressed in other ways, to other areas...to one's detriment. In mythology Nemesis follows Hubris. In this case Nemesis is humiliation, bad PR, and accusations of incompetence. It could have been worse.

Yes, that's my point. The intelligent thing to do would have been to consult a lawyer. They did not. They are too stupid to handle user made content.
