Loot Bags - A Summary

So, in 85 Matches i got all of this:
- 1.812.000 C-Bills
- 375 MC
- 3.500 GXP
- 4 days of Premium time
- 3 Mechbays
- Zombie Statue ('Grand' Prize)
- 3 random cockpit pumpkins
Sure, this seems like a lot of nice and free stuff on the first glance. But what is really useful?
I couldnt care less about the four cockpit items or the GXP, i have every module i want and every mech mastered that i care about. 1,8 mil. cbills looks like a lot at first, but that equals to about 21.318 bonus cbills per match, which is really not that much. Same thing with the Premium time, 'just' some more cash and gxp.
Now whats left: 375 MC and 3 Mechbays. Thats pretty awesome, bays and MC for random stuff are always very cool.
But was it really worth the grind? I would say that i am a normal player regarding the amount of time ingame, a few hours once, maybe twice a week. During this event though, i almost forced myself to get as many loot bags as possible, which means about 3 hours playtime every day.
And i got really tired of it. Just for some MC and mechbays.
Dont get me wrong, i like these events and free stuff, but i would change 2 things.
One: Make it possible to get multiple loot bags per game -> 80 match score, 1 bag. 160 score, 2 bags. Maybe up to 3 possible loot bags per game. This would fix the annoying grind and also motivate participants to get a really high score, not just 80 and then chill for the remainung match.
(This is not my original idea, i read it on the forums some time ago!)
Two: Bump the prizes or at least the Grand Prize up a little. Decals, supply crates or keys, stuff like that. I would love to get a random decal as the Grand Prize!
tl;dr: got some nice stuff, but not enough for time spent. sour taste is left.
So how do you guys feel about your loot? Did you even farm actively or did you open any bags at all?

Ok, onto this topic.
I ended up with (Out of 120 bags, which is 'max')...
4,050,000 C-Bills
370 MC
8,500 GXP
2 Mech Bays
5 Cockpit Items
Was it worth it? On it's own, no. But I am getting a giggle doing the statistics on it, which is nice. Probably getting more out of that then the Loot Bags themselves.
EDIT: And yes, they should have had paint schemes in the loot bags. Much better then the dozen different pumpkin heads and the Zombie mech.

At least you got some good stuff. I maxed out bags every day and did not get the zombie mech nor did I get any mech bays. I'd gladly trade for what you got than worthless trash like GXP that I got.

300mc
Cockpit Items: Halloween Skull Face
Cockpit Items: Halloween Pumpkin
Cockpit Items: Halloween Pumpkin
Cockpit Items: Halloween Lights
Cockpit Items: Halloween Nuke Pumpkin
It was a good haul. It sucks i didnt get the Zombie or pure mechbays and it sucks it wanted me to play everyday rather than binge play. But trick or treat aint supposed to make you rich and i got 84 bags which is a lot, they are supposed to be fun and it was imo.
It could be upgraded. More rare items. Could be Halloween colours(unless you own them obviously) or Phranken pattern unlock for one chassis even if you dont own the chassis it yet. The more ultra rare item you get the harder it gets to get one so you up the chances a little bit, everyone gets one rare and get that special feel.
Anyways i like those even better than any other. Participation prize for the win and down with pilot this mech or kill this mech.

Zero mech bays.
No zombie mech.
295 MC, almost but not quite enough to buy one bay.
The rest is irrelevant.

C-Bills: 4,938,000
MC: 640
GXP: 5,100
2 Mech Bays
4 Days Active Premium Time
20 consumables
Halloween Nuke Pumpkin
Halloween Scared Pumpkin
Halloween Lights (x2)
Halloween Stitched Pumpkin
Zombie Mech Standing Item
Tricks:
2 Small Lasers
1 Single Heat Sink
1 Flamer
As for grinding, I played a lot to the point I'll probably take a break for a couple days but I didn't really grind. Two of the days I was busy so didn't get the maximum for the day, but for the other days I'd try to hop on for a few matches (or more if I'm having a good run), log off, then log back on for another gaming session. Sometimes it'd take just two sessions to earn the maximum, others three or four. I would have objectives for the day though, like leveling up my Ice Ferrets, or King Crab, or Cataphract, or other mechs I'd yet to elite or master.
Then there'd be times I think 'Hey, I haven't played this mech in a while' and use it for a game or three. I never had to grind because my objective was to go through my stable of mechs and decide which one I wanted to play, and let the loot bags take care of themselves at the end of the day.

1 Zombie Mech Grand Prize
7 Days Premium Time
7 Other Cockpit items
2 Mechbays
695 MC
various Cbills, GXP, and consumables not worth noting.
It's fine. It made me play a bit more than I usually do. I had several thousand spare MC so I used it to cash in my 50+ supply caches, bought keys, just for fun..( YesI know I could have bough t6-8 more mech bays, I really dont need more...
I did ok. 50+ supply caches, plus this event, I earned close to 40,000,000 cbills with play time, selling the cache contents, and the rewards earned.
I'll finally buy the Artic Cheetah line.

I did win a couple modules, but that was the extent of my luck. No Mechs won,..a few mech bays, blah blah blah...nothing great.
But I did earn alot of cbills. If you spin and win the 6 Medium Clan Pulse Lasers just as one example, turn around and sell them for about half a million cbills, that adds up. I sold almost everything i won that was sellable, and made many, many millions.
I will continue to open all my supply caches with keys bought with the MC won in these type events. Its a fun perk!

So, you wish to delete Lights and Mediums for the duration of the event?

What grind? I play to have fun and this is a bonus on top of it. If you see an easy giveaway as I grind then the problem might be with you.

But hey, free stuff. Just play as you normally do and open them the morning after or something. You want to play the game anyways, these are just extras you don't even have to opt in for or do anything specific. Match score shouldn't be a problem since you should be trying to do as well as you possibly can anyways.

Now I read comments about how the new pgi event system is not the best as it forces them to play every day (80% of the days of the event).
So... at this point... I can only say, even in this, PGI cannot please everyone.
For my loot: I got the Zombi mech on the last day on the 9th of 15th loot bag.
I would like to say PGI trolled me, but at least I got the zombie mech, unlike sadly, others.
Also got 1 mechbay, 7 cockpit items and 425MCs.

First ur not sure if the stuff you got was usefull, cus you have every mech and module you want.
Then you claim to be a normal player. I can tell you this a normal player dosnt have all the mechs and modules he wants.
Then you want 2 or 3 times as much of the stuff you aint sure is useful. Cus apperantly playing this game is annoying.
makes no sense to me

I got like 4.2 million Cbills, 640 MC, 5 days of premium time and 1 Mech Bay, plus the Zombie Mech which is one of the few cockpit items I absolutely love.
I unfortunately got countless fricken hanging pumpkins that I will never us, probably like 10 of them. Wish I could sell those for like 50k C-bill each or something. I also have 50k GXP just banked with nothing I really want to spend it.
