Alright, so I've collected more Data on the Summoner after getting it mastered and found its currently my best mech. Higher WLR and KDR than my KDK-3, though lower average damage.

I want to see the stats of people who have at least 50 matches in each of those mechs so that I can see if this trend holds up commonly or if its just me finally finding my true mech or something.

Build for the Summoner is dual ERPPC with a TC4 and heatsinks.
Kodiak is 2 UAC10s + 2 UAC5 with a few matches with quad UAC10 from before the nerf.

My stats so far:

I'll be setting up a spread sheet for the data as it comes in if anyone is interested.

I never thought that just two PPCs would end up being such a game changer with the proper mounts and a perfect platform for them.

Summoner already received a lot of quirks to take account for its apparent weaknesses. And once its chief weakness in its most viable loadout is eliminated with the introduction of high mounts, then it became very easy for good players to rack points up.

Once 8/8 quirks hit in the next patch (every sign points to it), I doubt Summoner will still be able to keep +30% CERPPC velocity (prime RA) and have high mounted ST points. So enjoy it while one can.

The power of Poke in the PUG LIFE is an amazing thing

Combined with 30 (paper) damage every sub 3 seconds (before heat cap), it can pump it out.
Issues were always ape arms (in that very endowed Quirk 2ERPPC loadout)
It was the best PPC chassis, numerically, but lacked the mounts. Now, it doesn't have that issue, and should be among the best PPC carriers in the game

I wish I could use one.

the laser summoner is a surgeon where as a uac10 kodiak is a bear.

a summoner is a good mech with terrible hardpoints, now that its hardpoints are better, the results are a forgone conclusion.

I'm wishing they would be released to the public sooner too. Summoner's needed a boost for a good while now, but it was stuck behind a limited time paywall. I'd love for my friends and I in the unit to be able to have these. If Faction warfare actually had matches much anymore I'd have liked to get the pods on my other summoners too so I could have a deck full of them.

Too bad these things take about a year to come out for cbills and who knows what balance changes are going to happen during the wait.

I would not bet that the summoner and the KitFox will be keeping their quirks in the near future.

Yeah. Except the W/L ratio, I have also stats that are a tad to good on that thing. You can dish out tons of damage but I can't seem to carry my team with the Summoner.

As much as i love the Summoner now, the ERPPC quirks will go away. I wish they would just up the velocity for the ERPPC im general. Then I wouldnt mind as much. One thing is sure though, if it gets nerfed hard it will just start collecting dust again.

When you have a build you find powerful, instead of posting about it on MWO, smart move is to keep it to yourself.

Prepare for your Summoner nerfs.

Never played summoner until loyalty variants so here's stats from the two loyalty variants plus the D variant I picked up as a third.

Would these be group or solo play, and would you also have and KDK-3 stats?

Probably 50/50. Performs a lot better in longer matches, where as KDK-3 kinda taps out once out of ammo you know? Also from my experience it performs worse in group queue since the team queue see more shifting battle lines and more aggressive movements that can end the matches quickly
