Model has been fixed and all thin geometry thickened for 0.1mm layer printing. Locust itself is 1/64 scale.

I'll update this post with photos once I've printed this beauty. Thinking of printing water in clear SLA resin.

OP, it this designed for home 3D printing, and if so, which printer do you recommend? I've been designing on Shapeways for years, but I have no experience with home printing.

Hi unfortunately I have no experience with desktop home printers and FDM technology. Theoretically this should print on any printer that prints with 0.1mm layer thickness or bigger since I've thickened up all geometry to be printable at that size and layer rez. I print on production grade professional printers at work myself. SLS and SLA technology and this model has been tested to be printable on those. Mainly SLS since you don't need supports to print that way.
