Close in jump brawling was a lot of fun in the victor.. back when it could jump... and back when you could cool down your weapons while jump jetting.. that was a big help

Proton was still able to wreck face with it the other day. That doesn't say much about how strong a mech is objectively, though.

I can't argue against any of the negative points presented here, but still makes me sad to hear since the Vic was the first mech I really felt at home in. I play the 9S ac20/ML/SRM brawler build. Makes me want to bust out 10 games in it tonight and see what happens.

And grats on getting that mechpak, Stephan! The game is most fun when you play what you enjoy regardless of how competitive it is. I only own/play IS mechs myself; so we probably have some things in common <o

Nice video. Although his situational awareness, positioning and aiming is exceptional, he wasn't very much focused. The 2AC5+2PPC Slayer is very vulnerable in brawling. A mediocre light player can kill a DS solo without any problem.

Let me start by saying I am not the best mech warrior, but I have spent a lot of time in the Battle Master, Victor, and Zeus.

I love the Victor… For the board game only. Worst of the 3 in MWO, by far.

Both the Battle Master and Zeus are great. I lean toward the Zeus, but I couldn’t tell you why. I might be a play style thing. But for your own sanity don’t waste time on the Victor right now. And it makes me sad to say that.
