I haven't bought a single module or used any GXP in the months since PGI revealed that they are reworking both those systems.

Did some numbers to help guys save some money and see a possible option for great savings.

LOCUST MASTERY
Mastery pack. 3185 - 20% = 2548 MC
Pirates bane. 750 - 20% = 600 MC
1e(c) 380 - 20% = 304 MC
3m. 355 - 20% = 284 MC
Premier time. 1250 - 20% = 1000 MC
3 mech bay. 450 - 20% = 360 MC

That is the break down of 20% off the locust pack.

Now for value comparison

Premium time ala carte 2500 - 20% = 2000 MC
3 mech bay ala carte. 900 - 50% = 450 MC
Pirates bane ala carte. 1500 - 50% = 750 MC

Those three total well over the original price for the locust pack even on sale. So if you want premium time and mech bays, do yourselves a favor and buy the locust pack. Even if you sell the mechs, it will be about on par with the ala carte sales.

A second note: If you are planning to buy larger amounts of premium time, then this does not save you as much. If you buy 30 days, then it is well worth it.

Since I didn't really know what to expect out of the hero sale, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised to see how many 'select' heroes made the cut...basically all of them unless they were too new. Now I'm stuck in option paralysis, which is a pretty good problem to have.

Nah there are tons of options. I have lots of clan mechs. The simple reason being you must know how to pilot it to kill it.

All the big clan packages have been around 20% off at some point this month.

The Clan Hero's are 40% off MC value bought from the cash-shop.
And basically all the rest are pretty damn new, because Clans have had a TON of releases lately.

Mechbays half price
Bunch of MC, C-Bills and stuff from the event.
Clans are fine.

And there'll be more in the next major sale around Easter.

Odd question but when does the double xp etc event end as I can't see the times anywhere? Sure its blatantly obvious but going blind here I guess.

So another savings post to look at:

The recent heroes you can buy in collectors packs. If you haven't bought the collectors packs and are thinking of getting them.in the future, buy the heroes on the sale. If you hurry and get mc before that sale ends, you could potentially get most of those heroes for less than the hero add on cost. Plus if you really like it and get the mech pack you could get a second one later on at the discounted price.

Example spirit bear 3760 cost MC right now 15$ for 3600. Get that beast and save your add on for a future discount.
