I had a dream a couple weeks ago about it.
My unit was known as 102nd Davion Fighter Wing.
We were fending off a Kurita Union class Dropship.
It was fast furious and so much fun.
Then I woke up.
Yes I was drinking earlier, but that's beside the point.
It was glorious!

I'd rather get quadrupeds (they'd probably be easier to implement too)

I really do think MechWarrior Online has the best groundside combat ever, what there is of it, and if that could be translated to space it would be awesome.

No game has done proper capital ship combat in space or even tried really, in a multi player game anyway, that would be awesome to.

So ya Aerotech would or could be the best.

I wouldn't mind flying a Scytha or Shiva.

Sparrowhawk would probably be the most fun though.

Ah, yes, the F2P aerial combat arcade/sim. That wont draw more parallels between PGI and and more successful companies, nor get them into a crowded, highly competitive marketplace in which they have no hope in hell of succeeding.

I suggest you consider sobriety, Novakaine.

As much as I'd love to see Aerotech added into this game, given PGI's glacial development pace I'd probably die of old age before it ever happened. But you can always take comfort in the knowledge there'll definitely be another mechpack rolling out next month.

LOL, then we would get 100000000 threads about how Quads are OP because you can shoot off 3 legs and they still dont die vs the bipeds only getting 2 legs and they are easier to leg then quads.

So, Quads end up getting 2 legs worth of health across all 4....for "balance".

Just like the Clan vs IS XL crap haha.

Quadrupeds lose 12 to 16 internal slots, cannot torso twist, and incur a sever movement penalty when even one leg is lost.

That's if they follow TT rules, of course. Quads suck pretty hard, and I can't imagine any sane person calling them OP, unless they completely butcher the rules for them... but at that point, we're just imagining wild claims and making crap up.

If they do add quads I'm willing to bet they will be able to torso twist. The Linebacker and the Nova weren't supposed to have torso twist either and they do.

I imagine the Quads will be able to "side step", as per a standard shooter game. I wouldnt even be surprised if somehow they let the Quads bunny hop or something, giving them insanely fast traverse rates to make up for the lack of torso.

They would probably get some pretty hefty weapon quirks, since the torsos are the only spots they can mount guns, that which im pretty sure is mostly taken up by the engine, limiting them. Yeah.....

Quads would probably be quirked so hard we wouldnt be able to touch it.
