It is funny watching a player who is at high tier 4 or low tier 3 level but who thinks he is the s**t, the dog, should be out there fighting on the same level as EMP. Let’s take a closer look at his play style first using the 5 points scale bar. Map awareness – around 2, aim – emm around 3, poking and trading ability 1 (exposes too much of his mech for a long time – damn those IS XL engines), believe in personal abilities 6+, ability to command 3 (“push” seems to be the word he uses the most in giving orders. He’d make a great doctor – push, push, PUSH – that baby is almost out), passion – over 9!!!
Ok, seems we got all the basics now let’s look at one of his streams lat night. He was invited to play in a group of MJ12 (they had 4 men) and they were defending Hellbore Springs against DSx almost a full team. The great leader rallied his troops to G3 (alpha gate) (did I mention he was invited) only to find out that he was joined by a few pugs and all other players took defenise positions around crow’s nest and other well fortified spots. Shouting at the team for 40 seconds didn’t bring them an inch closer to Buffoon at which moment any reasonable person would have realised that this is not the place where you’d want to be alone. But no forget that our Mr Satan the invinsible and superior worrier decided to stay and defend the spot not only for one but for 2 waves. What happens to a single mech facing an entire team, well, you guessed it right people he met his glory in Valhala. I guess MJ12 guys used them as a damage sponge and had a good laugh (I was surely laughing my but off)). Only if Buffoon new that iLLcapitan was originally recruit in EVIL and is well versed in trading (no, he didn’t just say that, no he didn’t, no, no no, damn you EVIL).
After loosing 2 mechs came Buffoon’s acute sense of justice and the need to justify what happened. The fact that he had plenty of time to move away from the danger spot and that the mini map showed nobody moving towards him from the friendly team wasn’t enough a message to get away I don’t know what would. Instead of releasing his own short comings and lack of tactical sense he started to lash out on MJ12, especially iLLcaptain. Calling people names and cursing them, people who invited you into your team is surely a great way to make new friends. iLL even suggested you to leave the group if you don’t like their play style. But no our passionate Buffoon decided to go even further saying that his A” team” would destroy best MJ12 team any day. Oh, no, he did not say that, he just din’t say so. Wait what team? Where is that imagenary and awesome team he is talking about. Oh darn it, I forgot to mention that there is no team. This is why he is forced to play with other teams. His old team beating MJ12. Don’t make me laugh (even more than I already am). MJ12 is a solid unit that has my respects. We are rival units. We have our differences but I enjoy playing those guys. They are giving us a run for our money. Most of the times we have very close games. Thank you guys for making it really exciting and fun for us. As far as I remember last time we played against D&C we were crashing then 40-12. We did end up loosing one more wave of our mechs in the end cause people started re-inforcing one by one. But you know sharks. What can you do). I guess D&C stopped playing CW completely because EVIL kept trashing them again and again and those gen rushes we getting old. I mean look at those other great teams MS and KCOM and where they ended up. Gen rushing for the win. What can I say if this is the only way you a team can win who am I to stop them. It must so exciting to gen rush for 6 to 10 hours straight. Such a great team as KCOM with their impecable w/l ratio in faction play should be fighting their with the likes of EMP and EON in the world championship. Those gen rushing tacticts should’ve honed their team skills and experience. If only there were gens in the world championship. Damn you PGI
. I bow to you oh the great team.The second stage of Buffoon’s emotional holocost is griefing and who is better to come to his rescue as his best pals German pals. They would listen to him, told him to bring long-range mechs, hold his hand. Oh damn, I will probably get in trouble for saying this. I don’t think we can discuss personal relationships in MWO according to R&R. Sorry PGI, the text was too small and there was a lot of it. That “I agree” button seemed so tempting to press and play the game.
Guys, the point of this topic is to play this game and have fun. If you don’t have a team in FP you should get one. If you get invited to play with other teams you shouldn’t bad mouth those teams behind their backs. If Buffoon doesn’t realise that the problem is with him and not other players, mechs, cheaters, PGI and the game balance then he will be able to grow as a player. We play both sides of a coin and I do say it myself that clan mechs are a little easier to play, especially at range than IS. But the difference is not that great and personal skill definitely matters. Until he stops spreading his “passion” the Mr Bean show will continue and I’ll have the best darn entertaining show out there
.I know there are many problems in CW and I really hope PGI will address some of them in December (after Mech con) but it is not dead, at least not yet. It was nice to see so many teams on both sides. We had many nice games and a few losses. Many thanks to all these teams (MJ12, BO, PHL, DSx, HHOD, TJ, CPOP, IREX and many others that I didn’t mention).
I’d like to sumamrise the list of EVIL policies
1) We have a strict farming policy;
2) If you snipe from a drop zone you will drop dead from a dropship;
3) If you stream you’d better put a delay because we will stream snipe you;
4) If you bring lurms you will drop dead from a dropship;
5) If you dropping solo there is a very good chance you will drop dead from a dropship.
Sorry guys we are EVIL and we have a reputaion to uphold
.Guys, remember FP is a team game and you need to play as a team or at least try. Unless you are a top player solo dropping will take you nowhere.
