I had a hard time finding good builds and grinding basic techs on cents to get the gift cent up to par.

Someone start a support group for all the cent pilots out there grinding techs.

I had a lot of good time levelling my cents.
Back in the days (which means with no quirks and far less OP mechs and longer TTK)

For the gifted cent, I propose this build:

1) my rule: never ballistic in light or medium (except exceptions)
2) cent is a brawler, good hitboxes: so go brawl! Max engine, max alpha, max heat eff.!
3) 50.7 dmg alpha. More than enough for a 50 tonner.

Just had to explain to someone in game today where I got it from. Going to be at least a few over the weekend who don't play daily or visit the site who will need to know.

Yep its a good mech, using it right now.

Got it set up with 3 A-SRM6 and 2 mlas, gotta say its fun AF. Wanted one for lord knows forever but couldnt bring myself to spend the c-bills on the mech, plus the mc for the mech bay, but, so far super happy with it, one of the better flanker/brawlers I've gotten hold of. Honestly its pretty sweet. I hope this goes on for the rest of the year, new players will at least have something handed to them to start with other than the cadet bonus that they get their first mech with
