We don't.

There is the 2x XP per mech daily. Insignificant, but it is there. We also sometimes get week-long event with dailies, which can be fun.

2x experience on mechs are basically meaningless in the long run since mech xp starts to gather dust after awhile (I have 927,659 mech xp on my dire wolf prime(I), goml)

We get events but they are few and far between OR they are incredibly short lived and you miss the chance to play OR they're faction warfare events, and faction is dead unless you decide to join the jade falcon whales and spend your time stomping pugs.

Dailies would be too generous to the playerbase, I think; I'm sure if the business model squeezed in a $30 access fee to dailies and repeat login bonuses it'd be okay... /sarcasm

I'm fine with the X2 XP daily. When we get events, the other half of the forums whine about crappy game play. So, yeah, let's just leave it where it is.

Honestly they could give you two objectives a day. One gives you 5 mc the other gives you 100k cbills. If you have premium time acitve it gives you one additional daily thing [maybe a random piece of equipment.]

Complete 15 days in a month get a grab bag, give an extra grab bag at 20 24 and 28.

Done.

You can't have daily missions and lockboxes existing in the same game. Wargaming tried that and it was a disaster.

yeah, welcome to mwo forums from 2013...

for real we asked about dailies like forever, the suggestion board is (or at least was) full with good ideas how to make this a fun little incentive to play each day. But like all other things, PGI knows best how to run a lucrative F2P game and we all have no idea...

... if you get people to play more, they often want short cuts more. Shortcuts are paid items...

OK, hadn't thought about that, but then...

Why not have tf2 caches that we get for every 45 minutes of play, especially if it includes waiting to play?

I personally don't mind the caches. but I don't really open much considering every 6 caches=1 discounted mech bay (yes, I'll wait a year)

If I could amass 20 caches regularly and then winnow them down to the 3 or 4 that I might wanna spin on, that'd be something.

OTOH, 5MC and 100k cbill dailies sound more enticing.

Don't ask for it.
It will turn out that they bind those dailies to mechpack purchase.
It is pgi after all.

1 MC per pug match win with minimum score of 80, and 3 MC per FW wins with minimum score of 100. People can work towards MC only items while playing more. ;)

OP has a good point, the 2x XP daily loses its appeal as the sole thing bringing you back day after day. Further incentive in this fashion certainly couldn't hurt the game!

Interesting topic since World of Warships recently took away its daily missions, which I think was a mistake. Now, you just earn generic XP and unlock generic lockboxes that may or may not be useless. The daily missions encouraged me to play different ships: if I need torpedo hits, break out the destroyers, but if I want to shoot down planes, play a CV, etc. Now, you just play "whatever gets you the most XP" which removes some of the spice from the game, IMHO.

MWO, meanwhile, never even got far enough to remove daily missions.

You know, I thought one of the points of making UI 2.0 was that it would be rather easy to do something like this. But it seems like daily missions / objectives would be a massive undertaking for PGI, at this point. It would have to be something you would only interact with through the website, probably.

PGI just isn't very good at this F2P PVP stuff, in my opinion. They're better than they used to be, but they've still got miles to go before they're at the level of War Thunder, Star Conflict, etc.

2x is actually somewhat meaningful if you level several mechs at once. especially if you are running premium time. i can collect about 10-20 of those a night.

Don't know
The last few events were participation events
Like come daily and score
And we have an event every week now
Soo
There you have it I guess

But ultimately, mmm, not that satisfying as something to do

Still seems low a bit
Sigh hard to balance I guess
1 MC per quick play
Would need 1250 drops to save 7$
That's like asking for more salt I think
3MC for FP victory
So pugs rarely get anything and by joining MS and KCOM youre guaranteed MC
