So in other sports like golf if a player is clearly better there is a handicap to the game. Why not handicap higher tier players? Like less weapons damage, lower armor, or lower mech performance?

how do you make sure that these players do not intentionally lower their performance to just stay out of the handicap and exceed onyl then when it is needed to the minimal degree to achieve what they want to achieve?

MM has the similar issue as it tries to match up equal skilled people. yet PSr isn't able t properly detect "skill" the way it is deisgned and so MM just cannot work properly.

Golf is a rather simple way to measure a performance as theres not much to take into account unlike MWO.

Too hard to code. Might as well simply lower the player number on the side that has better PSR.

skynet would just build a huge spaceship and fly off soemwhere else, doesn't needs athmosphere and a ecosystem to survive so no need to waste ressources on fighting a living being that you can probably just ignore come back 500 years later when it dealt with itself.

I think Tiers 1 players should have their mechs arms' tied in their back for more equality, unless they voted hillary clinton.

Why not just uninstall the game? I.e. PGI could implement a system whereby if you reach T1 in the 'x'th percentile KDR wise, your game automatically uninstalls and all of your in-game assets are wiped out.

Even better idea: T1 pilots are only allowed to play the following mechs: Mist Lynx, Vindicator, Orion and Victor. Furthermore, quirks have no effect for T1 pilots anymore.

2 weeks later and each of those mechs get nerfed.

because people would really love to play hours upon hours upon hours upon hours to get where they are just to be gimped so the not as goods don't feel bad..

Sounds like a great system. I wish sports would penalize football (the real kind that we have in America), basketball, and baseball ... sounds like it would make them all so much better.
