Where are the sidetorso missle-hardpoints on my Stalker-3FB(L)? Someone patched them away...

It's on purpose. It wasn't supposed to have them in the first place, according to this.

Look at the spread sheet they put out announcing the Loyalty variants. It either wasnt supposed to have those hard points or they edited the spreadsheet. Only shows Missile Hardpoints in the arms. I know for a fact when I got my Loyalty Stalker it had 4 Missile hardpoints, because I had 4 LRM15 with Artemis and dropped several times with that loadout. Now it says "Invalid Loadout" and the hard points are gone.

Yeah there were some issues with the loyalty mechs and their loadouts, armor values and quirks weren't correct etc. I think some people were hoping nobody would notice the Stalker had more missile hardpoints than intended :P

I think you are right and that the correction (recapture?) of the hardpoints is correct. But come on PGI, would it kill ya to give a warning or add a comment to the patch notes letting us know this was in the pipeline?

This happened to the missile hardpoint in the loyalty cataphract's head. Obviously they just copy pasted one of the other variants and accidentally included hardpoints that they weren't supposed to have. How you manage to **** this kind of thing up only PGI knows.

Same here. Just looked at smurfys where it still has 4 missle hardpoints. Never mind...

Seriously? Not a single thing in the patch notes?

Been leveling it up using LRMs...is it too much to ask for an ECM LRM assault mech?

They should have just left them, tbqh. It's not like the STK-3Fb was breaking the game.

I guess my 2 ASRM4, 2 SRM6 and 2 PPC build (running a std 300) was OP. Who knew? Certainly not my opponents. My alternative 4 LRM10 and 6ML build was also too much for the game's sense of balance? Huh. My stats suggest otherwise.

Oh well. Back to 4PPC or 4LPL build just like the other 3Fs.

God forbid an 85 ton Stalker have 1 more friggin missile hard point than a 70 ton Archer 2R or Warhammer 7S.

Lame.

I was running 3xLL+3xML+4xSRM4 on mine. All this change does is make me drop one ton of ammo to fit in 2xSRM6+Artemis in place of the 4xSRM4. Whooo, I lost 9 damage in the process...

Meh.

I'm not going to lie and say that I've never thrown LRMs on it but it's not a very good idea.

the phract also got a head missile launcher that wasnt supposed to be there. i never used it, but still patched out.

the problem here is cut and paste. they find a mech thats similar, cut and paste its xml entry, and then fail to edit the correct tags. ive done this a lot with games ive modded. le oops.

Someone probably noticed after the sky went dark, "where's the sun... OMG! A missile boat with ECM! Now they can use their Artemis and I can't kill them for free by looking for the dorito."
