Ghost Heat 3.0

Greetings MechWarriors. Today I have an idea on how to fix Ghost Heat 2.0. I call It, Ghost Heat 3.0. The next generation of Ghost Heat!

All weapon families linked together!
20 damage maximum alpha strike!
Excessive penalties for every extra point of damage!
Machine Guns massively buffed.
Clans nerfed, again.
Laser duration increased by 30%
Ballistic and PPC velocity reduced by another 15%.
UACs will now jam 50% of the time*.
LRMs are now somewhat useful with 5% tighter spread on the LRM5.
SRMs spread increased by 11%.
IS SSRM CD increased by 47.5%.
C-SSRM CD increased by 35.5%**.
ER PPC ECM negation increased to 15 seconds***.
C-ER PPC damage increased to 11.
C-ER PPC heat increased to 18.
LBX Critical Chance increased.
C-AC's are now burst fire, like their UAC counterparts.
C-AC's will now jam 50% of the time, like their UAC counterparts*.
IS Small Laser range increased.
IS Small Laser Duration increased to .69 seconds.

What does everybody here think about my truly amazing, brilliant and innovative**** ideas?

For a second there I was sure you reprinted some of the energy draw patch notes.

Then I saw the machine gun buff and knew that there was no way PGI had come up with these changes.

Considering the fact that these are all terrible, joke ideas, I will take that as high praise. Even when I try to present bad ideas, they're still not as bad as The Balance Overlord's. Thank you.

Dude, don't. PGI is likely to not realize that this is a joke post and Paul will, for the first time in his life, look at the balance ideas of the player's, find this thread, take it seriously, and we will get Ghost Heat 3.0.

The problem with your Ghost Heat 3.0 proposal is that it is still Ghost Heat.

Nope. 6MG Spider already too scary. MGs to be nerfed to generate eight heat per shot with ghost heat activating on the second MG.

You forgot to increase LBX spread diameter, and offer a longer max range to compensate.

We tried that, and because of unrelated weapon changes it was scrapped entirely. Also some poll where people REALLY didn't want an alternative to Ghost Heat.

I really enjoy having my LRM 20's turned into scrap metal because if I fire them, I can't fire anything else. Makes my lore builds shine when they're punished, while optimized 30 alpha builds become even stronger.
