Hi all,
I see that MWO accepts Starbucks, Walmart, and many other gift card types... If I have $50 on a SB card, will they value it at $50, or are they going to suck the value down some percentage?
Thanks.

Using a third-party Gift Card won't be a 1:1 conversion of its value, as the payment processor is essentially purchasing x amount of 'Starbucks dollars' from the Gift Card and converting it into usable USD. It's essentially currency conversion, but the fees are a bit higher.
If you go through the first step of a transaction using a supported Gift Card the Xsolla portal should tell you what the converted value ends up being, prior to completing the purchase.
Because of the fees associated with the process I really only recommend using Gift Cards if you have no other options available, or if you otherwise have no use for the Gift Card.

Yeah, totally agree that it's not ideal. I checked it out and they dont give you the option to only use X amount of a GC... I have a 99Walmart GC and they offered 79 (they ate 20%).. I think i'll have to just add a $50 visa card to my grocery purchase this weekend and use the $99 against it...
