SRMs used to have a spread and converge pattern...they had a sweet spot at a certain range if you could get into position. PGI took that away, along with our spirally LRMs.

Seems like they keep taking stuff away as the game progresses instead of adding (IK, minimap, spiral LRMs, SRM pattern, interesting CW, etc).

Make them also shoot 4 or 6 if you have enough tonnage.....

I mean if you want actual sensible suggestions have all streaks only lock onto torsos instead of limbs as well, LT, CT, RT decided by RNG upon firing, for all size classes, and make SSRM2s fire slightly faster.

The way to tune streaks should be that each missile target location is determined based on the % mass of the target location to the total mass of the mech. Example if the CT is 40% of the total mass of the mech then it has a 40% chance of being targeted. The missiles should fly in a direct path to the location regardless of the target mech orientation such that if the target location is the RA and the mech turns in such a way it could hit the LA or LL even if the target mech is in a vertically elevated position in relation to the attacker. This would be the closest to actual physics and not be overpowered as to be CT seeking or limb seeking ect.
