Hello everybody, as i wanted to try something new and unexpected in the current meta i tried to build up something of the TBR-prime version.

It look like this :
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...a822f0c391d2ff9

I was wondering about some few things like the damage potential and worried about the cooldown interaction shared by the current weapons. Btw i think of that build more as a fun and enjoyable than meta and competitive.

Finally the reason i ask your help is that i just mastered my Timber wolf and already have 3 build for it (Gauss/Laser vomit, + a semi brawler AC5 based) and i don't have that much C-Bills like around 3M actually.

I'm open to any suggestion that can improve the build or any advice for anything else :)
And please don't be hard on me for my grammar, i learned english by myself. (thanks to my english teachers...)

This is currently the best brawling build I have for the tbr. Unfortunately you have to buy 3 pods for it

Mmmmh not only the pods but chassis as well. I have the prime, A and S version and i think the lack of laser hardpoint in the center torso will lower my dmg.
Btw i don't think i will buy another chassis for the timber wolf because i want to try something new,

Timber Wolf does not tanky, it's optimal battle distance is 400-800m. Only exception is when you choose med-hunter role.

Do the jump jets on the left torso work? Do they make it fly straight up when you use them?

Your build is more of a lower-mid-range build. Not that there's anything wrong with mid-range builds, but brawling usually means <300 meters.

You are also getting negative quirks from that A left torso without the A right torso. Those negative quirks impede your agility. Not a good thing in a brawler.

This is what I like to run: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...9f3023d8a4665bd

Very similar to the build by Bohxim; higher alpha at the cost of one less heatsink and less heat efficiency. I'd rather run hot than die cold.

Of course, how you want to play is entirely up to you. If it works it ain't stupid.

For brawling TBR's the undisputed king is the SPL/SRM builds you see posted. If you can't afford a new chassis, try the build BCAW gave but without the CT energy hardpoint. 5 SPL's is plenty, anyway.

And, no, the JJ's won't let you "fly straight up", but they're plenty effective at running up steep hills to close range quickly while staying out of sight, which is what you really need.

Good players are going to see you coming in one of these and focus you (having been rekt too many times not to), so ambushing is critical. Running in a group of brawlers is even better. The dps on these builds is brutal.
