Look, I can only point out to you you're wearing no clothes so many times. I'm trying to help you be more self-aware. There's a reason you're getting into so many arguments on this forum, and it's not everyone else's fault.

Take it or leave it bud, I won't say I didn't try.

umm, look at page 4, its just me, you and carl. Also I don't get into "so many arguments", I just happen to get into the same arguments. Also I don't need help with being more "self-aware" whatever that means. Carl pretty much as been **** posting to which i amused in a little, and I don't know what your deal is, a grudge perhaps.

Really drives home the difference between a monstrous company with effectively unlimited manpower and resources and Piranha. Though the fact that Blizzard has somehow figured out the secret of iterating XML edits in the PTR on a weekly-ish basis when needed seems to prove that it is possible. Now they just need to license that hidden technique to Piranha...

No, just seriously no.

PGI's "balance team" has had FOUR YEARS to balance stuff that is still undefendable trash.

What else do they actually do? Create bad mechanics for FW?

Not being a huge studio is not an excuse for putting out tone deaf, dart board selected "balance passes" that often do more harm than good because your team doesn't even understand how the game is actually played.

Creating assets? Engine stuff? Yeah that takes time.

Not change weapon stats? Not having any kind of a consistent plan to "iteratively balance" quirks? Not even understanding gameplay above T4?

They get no pass here, there is no excuse for it - it is ridiculous.

Small team, I'm so sick of that nonsense when it comes to balance conversation.

Carl is trolling you. I'm trying to point out why people don't like talking to you.

If you interpret that as a grudge then that's, again, your issue.

ha that's funny, because resosttos blocked me because I was using reason. As a matter of fact it's because I kept pointing out his fallacious post. Honestly him blocking me has saved me a world of a headache, tried to help the guy understand what fallacies are and why not to use them

let me get to the bottom of this. Why do people not like me? or better yet some people don't like me? maybe unlike dervish you can actually get to the bottom of that.

Ew. You use a non-imgur uploader? Why? Imgur doesn't put watermarks, and it's just a copy-paste job to upload onto the site. Plus, on mobile it shows how many people have viewed it. It's so good and free.

You might as well headbutt a bus Dervishx5, it will have about the same affect as trying to tell him why it is happening to him, see my meme at the top of the page, explains it all.

Yeah, Imgur was easy to use, until recently when they made a change, now just annoying.

That's really only a question you can answer with lots of self-reflection.

A good starting point is that you take things way too seriously.

******** dude, then it goes back to snide comments every left and right. Admit that whatever it is has only due to the fact that I disagreed with you and end it here.

same thing with restos and deathlike. I remember you guys said some things that I didn't agree with and actually made post and there was a lot of back and forth.

you can't put anything down that would actually point to these assertions made on me can you?

when I got messages congratulating me on trying to get the FW up and active again, it lets me know that to receive a bit of negativity is nothing compared to the actually effect of making something worthwhile.

Yeah, you're not getting into arguments with that. You're doing a good thing there.

But threads like these are not a good thing. Just stop trying to win arguments all the time and you'll notice your life improve (pun intended) dramatically, trust me.

To put it plainly:

You have trouble following the logic of a discussion and often choose to interpret statements at face value, outside the context in which they are made. That example I chided you for on page 3? By making that comment about Blizzard never making mistakes, you imply that everybody who holds them above PGI also thinks Blizzard never makes a mistake simply so you can point out that they still make mistakes and, thus, are no better than PGI. That is the only possible reason to make that remark in the context of the discussion and it is a textbook example of the straw man fallacy. You got called on it, and then you tried to refute it by saying everybody else are collectively making straw man arguments against you. I mean, really? C'mon, now...

Note, this flaw isn't unique to you and there are only two other active posters who have this issue and are as belligerent as you about it, but one of them is so bad at English that I don't hold it against him too hard.

well the assertion of a straw man was correct. I never said or implied that "they are no better than PGI". I was stating that when It comes to certain aspects such as balancing, blizzard has a tough time of it as well. That is why it is a straw man, I even keep repeating and clarifying and you still got me wrong.

I am also not saying because blizzard therefore this excuses PGI, once again never said that. It's funny you talk about context when I was earlier taken out of context. starcraft II also and well as hearthstone, all have balance issues and still to this day. any multiplayer game is going to experience that. Even within MWO you have people talk about the "balance overlord", or PGI doesn't know how to balance. At the same time, you have people that say the game "feels good", or that the balance is alright. Which is it? who is right?

I didn't make any fallacies at least to my knowledge and maybe you should quote me if i did. When I type something and try put it in plain letters what I am saying, and then when I read a response that has less to do with what I was actually talking about that is a straw man.
