I would have said that the Canucks would win the Stanley Cup before I saw that in a single thread.
I'd politely suggest that you ask the guys responsible to explain their short cut which was worded (at 53:10);

Just saying....if it's their mistake lets hear it from them and be done with it.

I don't think anyone at IGP or PGI even realized that our acronyms were each other reversed until you the community pointed it out.
Sorry but I call shennanigans on the above statement, if you couldnt see that the moment you decided to get in each other pockets there is something wrong.

I think them not posting leads to more of these.
Conspiracy always runs rampant when there is dev absence on any forums.

That, seemingly, hasn't changed.
Ironically, it hasn't changed. The difference is that some other entity isn't involved in doing equally dumb things at times.
It's easier to look over their track record post-IGP, and there's still a lot of the same elements that existed before that hold true now.
Things like having server locations could arguably be held back due to IGP as every reference to that was always about "their partners". This specifically meant IGP (there's some rumors suggesting that their servers were being offered to others, in the vein of Battle.net, except that's a hilarious joke relatively speaking considering what we've had to deal with). There's certainly some things you could have blamed IGP for, but inevitably beating that part of the dead horse is pointless.
There's already too many things that still linger in this game that is directly PGI related and has nothing to do with IGP in the first place.

I alt+tabbed onto the forums while a match was starting and saw this entire situation. Just. Wow. Well, I've got some screenshots as proof that this entire thing happened for future reference. I have no words for how ridiculous this is on so many levels.

That's a good idea. I better get some too, so I can show people later why I'm banned.
BRB adding the image you posted to my imgur account as well.
Oh, and I find it hilarious that I have more posts on this forum than Russ, Matt, and Tina combined.
Hmmm, that's odd. Is there a cut-off date where the forums stop remembering your previous posts? Because according to Russ' forum profile, he's literally only made 1 post before.

I have to agree with you on this.
When I started playing about 2 years ago, and first read about the IGP/PGI thing, it was the first thing I noticed.
I thought someone kept making typos and had to read it a couple of times before I realized that they were talking about 2 separate companies that just so happened to have identical acronyms except backwards.
So I have a hard time believing that nobody at PGI or IGP even noticed it when a moron like me can notice it right away.
